THE 2023 LA BIG 5K WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, MARCH, 18 2023 AT DODGER STADIUM. 

This family-friendly 5K is open to participants of all ages and abilities, including runners, walkers and strollers. Experience an iconic run through Los Angeles as you run through beautiful Elysian Park before a rewarding finish set against the backdrop of world famous Dodger Stadium. All participants will receive a race shirt, finishers medal, post-race refreshments and a truly unforgettable race experience. 

EVENT SCHEDULE

6:00 am: Dodger Stadium Parking Lots Open 

6:30 am: Bib Pick-Up Opens in Parking Lot G 

8:00 am: LA BIG 5K Race Start 

9:30 am: LA BIG 1/2K Kids Run Start 

BIB PICK UP

All participants must pick up their own race packet at the Health & Fitness Expo or race morning to participate in the LA Big 5K

Friday, March 17: 10am - 7pm: Health & Fitness Expo at Dodger Stadium

Saturday, March 18, starting at 6:30am: Race Morning at Dodger Stadium

The race will begin promptly at 8 am, beginning from the same start line as the annual Los Angeles Marathon, which will take place the following day.

Participants should begin lining up for the 5K no earlier than 7 a.m.

Please seed yourself according to expected race pace — quicker runners at the front of the start chute, slower runners and walkers to the back. For those that will be walking with a stroller, please place yourself at the very back of the pack to minimize any disruption of other runners.

Parking for the LA BIG 5K at Dodger Stadium is FREE!

GETTING TO THE RACE 

Due to street closures for the LA BIG 5K, only two entrances will be open to Dodger Stadium for participants:

The Sunset Gate, accessible via Sunset Blvd

The Downtown Gate, accessible via CA-110. These gates will open at 6:00 am PDT. 

(Note: The Golden State Gate, accessible via I-5, will be closed until 10:00 am due to street closures.) 

Please allow yourself plenty of time to get into Dodger Stadium and pick up your race packet before the start at 8:00 am. Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up opens at 6:30 am. 

Pick up your post-race refreshments and other goodies at the Finish Festival located in Lot G, just beyond the finish line. Finish Festival times will be released at a later time.
